There are many types of lunar eclipse, first, the partial penumbral eclipse very difficult to detect (only a portion of the moon enters the penumbra), secondly, the total penumbral eclipsel, very rare (the portion of the Moon which is closest to the umbra can appear somewhat darker than the rest of the Moon), third, the partial eclipse (only a portion of the moon enters the umbra) and, finally, the total eclipse (the moon completely enters in the umbra). According to experts, the maximum duration of an eclipse can be up to 6 hours.This is a partial one.
